Bio: 100% woman-owned and self-funded, Sugarcane Beauty was created by myself with a mission to provide high quality formulas to the sustainability sector of the beauty industry while rivaling premium products. It started from the desire for a better shampoo bar than what was available on the market at the time. Using my background in sustainability and chemistry at UW, I began working on formulas that were both innovative and effective. 4 years later, products have expanded to selling repurposed jewelry and accessories made from discarded and broken materials.
