Bio: Helllooo! I am a lifelong photographer and newish surface pattern designer who transforms pieces from my images into abstract, hide-and-seek design. Look into the pattern to find the bug, bone or bird that is the building block of the pattern. I have an online store for my line of cotton/silk scarves and occasionally do pop-ups. I started Gridsmith Studio 3 years ago after leaving an almost 30 year career in Research Administration at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. I live in Seattle with my husband, two pandemic puppies, a barn cat, raccoons and backyard birds. Our three adult children have left the nest and flown very far away!
