Bio: I’m Noelle, and I’m the founder and owner of GlassyRock Arts, based in Bellevue, Washington. I’ve always been an admirer of stained glass, but since I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest, the latent rockhound and wandered in me has thrived. I am at my happiest if I’m out in the wilderness hunting for beauties, whether on a beach or a mountain. I incorporated my finds into stained glass when I was much younger, and have been messing around with non-traditional designs ever since. Stained glass has given me so much – it was there for me many years ago when I was just starting to explore who I might be as an artist, and then it was there for me again when I needed to do something positive in a world that had been forced to close up, stand still, and fear each other. I was compelled to try and create beauty in that new and evolving world, and to try and help others to do the same. This business started early in the pandemic, and has grown and evolved along the way. Its focus remains the same: to help us try and create beauty for this place we all share. If I can help you do that, I will be both grateful and humbled.
