The timeframe felt almost perfect to me – long enough to learn a LOT, but not so long that I was overwhelmed and exhausted (I did a five-day art retreat once and that was too much). And it felt very appropriate to do this in the Spring, and leave with a fresh sense of beginning and potential. Plus, Vashon is just stunning right now!
