Take a Saturday to invest in your creative business! Saturday Sessions brings together makers, artists, and crafty entrepreneurs for a day of skill-building and connection. learn from experienced instructors who understand the unique challenges of running a handmade business. From crafting your first business plan to mastering the craft show circuit, these workshops will help you build confidence and clarity for the year ahead.

We’re excited to reimagine Camp ThunderCraft for 2026! Beginning this year, we will be moving to an every-2-year date pattern at Camp Burton. On the off-years (like this one!) we’ll be offering Saturday Sessions—-a more accessible way to get the business education and community connection you love about Camp ThunderCraft, without committing to a full weekend away.
Join us at our Seattle office for Saturday Sessions in February and March. Choose from three focused business classes and attend the ones that fit your needs—or stay for the full day. The day wraps up with a Social Club at a nearby establishment, where you can connect with fellow makers and continue the conversation.
We know times are tough, and we want to make sure our community has access to the tools and support to thrive. Saturday Sessions are designed to be flexible, affordable, and packed with practical insights you can use right away.
Space is extremely limited—register today to secure your spot!
(And, if you’re already excited for Camp ThunderCraft 2027 at Camp Burton, just sign up here to be the first to know once we open registration for our bi-annual small business retreat on beautiful Vashon Island!)
This class will outline which aspects of your business are the most important to keep track of, and strategies and suggestions for how to incorporate this into your everyday life so that you aren’t slammed with an overwhelming amount of work come tax-time.
We’ll cover why and how to track revenue, expenses (and which are deductible), business miles, home office expenses, and saving receipts. We’ll also have time for Q&A so bring your burning record-keeping questions!
