Bio: Robin Avni is a creative strategist engaged in the development of collaborative education projects as well as community cultural programs. She’s has had an extensive career in the design and high-tech industries including eight years at Microsoft and 15+ years in the publishing industry. Robin has served on several national and local boards and commissions including the 4Culture Board of King County, the Bellevue Arts Commission, and currently serves on the Washington State Arts Commission and the Gig Harbor Arts Commission. She received a BA in journalism with a minor in Design from Indiana University in Bloomington. She holds a Master of Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington. In her spare time, Robin is a multi-media artist and a novice printmaker. She lives in Gig Harbor with her husband, has three grown children and one amazing granddaughter
