Bio: I am a crafter who has owned two business before retirement: The Needlenook in Preston, ID a handmade fiber arts consignment shop and Times & Seasons, a bookstore featuring handmade gifts, in Auburn, WA. I am a recent widow with eight talented children, two of whom own jewelry businesses and market their own designs and creations. They are: Shining Dawn Designs in Tacoma,WA and NS Enterprises in Reno, NV. I “follow the sun”, living with each of them during the year, creating cabachons, beading and wire wrapping and helping with shows, craft fairs and other events as needed. I spend winters in Florida with three other children where I create jewelry and quilts and practice watercolor. I have also served as Marketing Director for the Reno Gem and Mineral Society.
