Megan C Simmons is an abstract mixed media artist. Born in Montana and living in Seattle, Washington, Megan has always been creative. A graphic designer in Seattle for over 20 years, Megan spends splits her time in her studio between designing and painting. Megan studied art at the University of Montana and received a degree in design from the Art Institute of Seattle. She also studied furniture design and building at the Wood Technology Center at Seattle Central College. Using acrylic paint, water soluble crayons, graphite, collage and other mark making tools, Megan’s art is bright, joyful and layered with many different textures.
