Bio: Brooke Gassiot is a painter and illustrator whose work ranges from large murals to detailed gouache paintings. Her current collection, ‘Ferry Kiss Studio,’ includes illustrated cards, stickers, and calendars that highlight the Pacific Northwest’s beauty. Growing up with a textile artist mother and a custom home-builder father, Brooke’s artistic journey started early. She studied at the University of Texas at Austin and improved her skills with a scholarship in Italy. Now living and working on Vashon Island near Seattle, she is excited about an upcoming art residency in Spain in March 2025. Alongside her art, Gassiot is a founding member of the Texas Sculpture Group (affiliate of the International Sculpture Group) and ICOSA Gallery in Austin, and she helps install monthly exhibitions at the Vashon Center for the Arts.
