As a woman in my 40’s, with my 7yo child more self-sufficient, I realized it was time to figure out what I wanted to do next, as the Film Industry just wasn’t the right fit any more. A life long love of fashion, antiques, hats and a passion for empowering others led me to start Phoenix Feather Design & Millinery in 2018, where I create hats using vintage tools, techniques, and materials as much as possible. I live in Ballard area of Seattle with my husband, daughter, and terrier mix dog Dobby.
