Bio: I’ve been an artist and crafter for as long as I can remember dabbling in a range of mediums including painting and quilting and embroidery. I have a degree in textile design and worked for almost seven years in the yarn industry. I recently decided to take a break from a traditional job to focus on making art and further develop my voice as an artist. My time off has made me realize how important my daily mixed media experiments in my sketchbook are to my mental and spiritual health. I’m just now in the beginning stages of building a crafty business. I hope to launch a handmade journal company and encourage others to explore an art journal practice.96
