After having two different careers, as an attorney and a General Contractor, I am coming home to my first love: creativity! I am launching an art studio out of the desire to have a community that supports each of us while we cultivate a creative life. I hope to bring my 30+ years in business to its best possible use by creating a place for people to create!
Elevator Pitch: For me, a creative life isn’t just about making art. It’s about playing, talking about BIG ideas and challenging myself to see beyond my own experience. It’s about inviting others into my studio and adventuring into the unknown with them, whether that be into new ideas, new books, or new artistic techniques. Fox Ridge Studios is for everyone who, like me, cannot go into an office supply store without spending an inordinate amount of time drooling over the colored markers and art paper. Fox Ridge Studios is for everyone who continues to pin projects to their pinterest boards, but just can’t seem to find the space and time to sit down and do the project. Fox Ridge Studios is for everyone who wants to write a book, or a poem, or begin a blog, but just can’t seem to get it started.
